Persephone Art

Persephone, in Greek mythology, is the goddess of herbs, flowers, fruits and perfumes. She is the daughter of Zeus with his sister Demeter, the goddess of agriculture and seasons; having been born after the marriage of his father with Métis and before the marriage with Hera. Built on Mount Olympus, home to the divine nobility, Persephone was abducted by her uncle Hades, moving to the underworld. Helped by her half-brother Hermes, Persephone spent half of the year on Olympus in the spring and summer seasons and another in the world of the dead in the autumn and winter seasons when she was called Cora by the other chthonic deities.

Persephone is described as a green-eyed brunette woman, possessed of a stunning beauty, by which many men fell in love.

On one side the representation of Koré, with the narcissus flower (which harvested before being kidnapped by Hades) and the pure side of a woman.
In the other, the representation of the queen of the underworld and the female malicious side.
